Do any of you tried Drum sets?
I've been playing guitar for a few years, I always had a greater interest in the battery, but I've always lived in apartments so that landlords will not let me buy a battery. I was thinking of buying an electric set are realistic and worth worth the money? Do any of you ever used them? Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
I am a drummer and my mate room a couple of years was also a drummer with an electric set. We lived in an apartment and the only complaints he received was the sound of the pedal. He shook the ceiling below us. Anyway, you should go to your local shop or guitar center drum and test various systems. I've been lucky to always have my battery acoustics but eventually have to buy an e-kit when I move into an apt when I graduate. E-kits have different types of heads on them. Some are of mesh plastic and others have solid (I think the rock band set). You get a different bounce to a different type of head. Personally, I like the mesh heads, because it makes less noise.
