Nursing mothers: How long the baby nurses on each side? And how old is s / he?
My baby's pediatrician told me that only need to nurse her 5 minutes per side. Is that enough? (You can just say that b / c she had a yeast infection at the time.) She go to the doctor tomorrow. I wonder other opinions. Thanks! (She's a little over a month old.)
I do not think the doctor knows what he is talking of … Breastfed babies are not supposed to have a time limit, bottle-fed babies have no time limits or come to think of it .. Nurse demand! It is the best way for you and your baby. My 5 months old baby, can sometimes nurse for 5 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes.
