How can i right a good screamo guitar song ?
Me and 2 of my friends decided to make our own band, Since im the guitarist i have to write GUITAR songs. I have gotten some alright sounds, but when i write songs it always sounds soft and like classic rock. Any tips on how i can get that faster lower sounding screamo sound ?
You need to listen to what you want to write, so listen to songs and bands that you consider “screamo.” It would also help a little to play in a different tuning such as dropped d or something like C-G-C-F-A-B♭. That will give you a heavier sound. Just experiment until you find riffs that you like.
