What songs should play acoustic or classical guitar in a restaurant?
I'm playing at a concert in a small restaurant / bar. I bring a classical and acoustic guitar and singing some I plan too. What are some easy songs I can play for the hearing of all ages?
This depends on the restaurant, the size and room environment, customers, and the preference of the owner. I always carry a book with me application if you play the guitar or piano. I keep track of what customers demand, and that helps keep people from interruptions in the middle of a song. You have to decide what you are willing to do course, but it never hurts to have a good partner Real / Fake Books over the special requests which can be as meaningful to customers and profitable for your tip jar. You must be ready to play at least fifty-seventy-five songs from any source ethnic features of the restaurant, in addition to standard songs for anniversaries, birthdays, meetings, etc. Find out if you are an artist of the moment, or if the owner or manager prefers the background music. If you are a featured performer is more important to choose the music you are familiar with, and what better shows his skills as an artist. If background music is playing, play the music that best highlights the personality of the room, and supports the atmosphere. Another thing that works well for a friend of mine is having a list of your favorites, or most requested tunes. Often when an applicant approaches, the list will and choose from there. This eases their burden because they do not have to play an unknown song, and gives the applicant a nudge in the right direction as well. I have published a couple of links below to begin.
