I keep reading that the movie Karaoke Terror: The Complete Japanese Showa Songbook is based on a book by Ryu Murakami – but I have yet to find out what that book’s name is. The term “Based on the novel written by Ryû Murakami” leads me to think that Karaoke Terror was the name of the book too.
